Ciarán Hinds' best books

Ciarán Hinds is Aberforth Dumbledore in the forthcoming Harry Potter movies and has played many other film roles.

He named his six best books for the Daily Express. One title on his list:
ONE HUNDRED YEARS OF SOLITUDE
by Gabriel Garcia Marquez

This book took me on an amazing mystery tour.

I just remember an extraordinary array of characters in a place landlocked by jungle and that I didn’t know quite what was real and what was fantasy.

He makes it seem like anything is possible.
Read about another book on Hinds' list.

One Hundred Years of Solitude is one of Walter Mosley's 5 favorite books, one of Eric Kraft's 5 most important books, one of James Patterson's five most important books, and is on Rebecca Stott's five best list of historical novels.
