BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY'SRead about another book on the list.
Truman Capote
There's a lot this short story taught me, the first of which is the importance of a striking title (I mean, come on, that is a great title). Second, is great character names: Holly Golightly, Mag Wildwood, and Sally Tomato, anyone? And third, is how to turn an unlikely character into a timeless heroine: Capote made it easy to love a fresh-mouthed, down-and-out call girl – and I love him for it.
Breakfast at Tiffany's is one of Dan Rhodes's top ten short books.
