At Author Interviews I've posted a brief interview with Christopher Goffard, author of Snitch Jacket.
At the risk of perpetuating the unfortunate (1) marketing impulse to pigeonhole authors and (2) the notion that noir (or other genre) novels cannot be literary, I asked Goffard a couple of questions about the place of his book in the fiction constellation.
I also asked him how his protagonist (the snitch) is like a newspaper reporter (Goffard reports for the Los Angeles Times).
Check out his answers.
Read more about Snitch Jacket, and learn about what Goffard was reading in late August 2007.
