If I had to cast The Broken Dragon, Children of the Dragon Nimbus #2 today, I’d have to look both forward and backward in time as this is the middle book of a trilogy and the twelfth book in the world of The Glass Dragon.

This volume of the epic series belongs to Lily, daughter of master magicians Jaylor and Brevelan. Lily is the broken dragon, the only person in a family of formidable magicians who has no magical talent. However, Lily’s twin Valeria has been frail and sickly all her life. The two are inseparable, so no one notices that Val throws all of the magic for both of them at the University of Magicians. Lily gives her the strength to do so.
