Rosie Perez's 6 favorite books

Rosie Perez is an Oscar-nominated actress, whose credits include Do the Right Thing, White Men Can't Jump, Fearless, and The Counselor. She is the Artistic Chair of Urban Arts Partnership and sits on the Presidential Advisory Council on HIV/AIDS. Her new memoir is Handbook for an Unpredictable Life: How I Survived Sister Renata and My Crazy Mother, and Still Came Out Smiling (with Great Hair).

One of Perez's six favorite books, as shared at The Week magazine:
The Princess Bride by William Goldman

The movie is really good, but it pales in comparison with Goldman's 1973 novel. I have loved this story forever. So adventurous. So utterly romantic. And so witty it still makes me laugh.
Read about another book on the list.

The Princess Bride is among Stephanie Perkins' top ten most romantic books, Matthew Berry's six favorite books, and Jamie Thomson's top seven funny books.
