Nick Offerman’s 12 favorite books

Nick Offerman is a stage and screen actor (Parks and Recreation) and woodworker.

His new book is Paddle Your Own Canoe: One Man's Fundamentals for Delicious Living.

One of Offerman’s twelve favorite books, as shared with The Barnes & Noble Book Blog:
A Walk in the Woods, by Bill Bryson

A favorite purveyor of smarty-pants nonfiction subject matter due to his friendly and humorous tone. Incredibly universal in his appeal, this journal of his time on the Appalachian Trail is like taking a stroll down to the creek with an uncle who is great at telling stories.
Read about another book on the list.

A Walk in the Woods is among Will Howarth's best books for lovers of Henry Thoreau's "Walden" and Eric Blehm's ten favorite books.
